The Lackawanna Trail boys’ cross country team improved its record to 11-1 on the year with a 5-0 showing at a meet in Honesdale on Tuesday.

The Lions, anchored by a second place finish from Devon Clarke at 18:48 took wins over Honesdale (18-40), Lakeland (24-36), Susquehanna (21-40), Mountain View (15-50) and Western Wayne (20-39).

Also helping the Lions’ cause was Isaac Barbolish with a fourth place finish at 18:57.

Lion Devin Walsh finished eighth at 19:26, Dylan Harris took 11th at 20:00, Zack Wetzel finished 13th at 20:24, Vic Rosa placed 15th at 20:39 and Anthony Urban finished 20th at 20:59.

On the girls’ side, the Lady Lions were led by Katie Siegle who finished 12th at 24:49, while Morgan Weisel took 17th at 25:50, Mollie Siegle had 18th at 26:03 and Grace Wetzel took 19th at 26:17.
