A 26-year-old Lake Winola man was arraigned Monday on a charge of open lewdness after allegedly exposing himself at a counseling service agency in Tunkhannock last month.

Brooke T. Reese, of Fairview Road, also faces charges of disorderly conduct and harassment after a Sept. 10 incident at A-Better-Today.

According to a police criminal complaint, Reese was at the Warren Street counseling agency when he allegedly exposed his penis to two staff members and two clients.

One client, a 24-year-old female, said she witnessed Reese, with his pants unbuckled and pulled down in front chasing one of the staff members around the office.

A 28-year-old female counselor said that in another incident the same day, Reese tried to “give me a high-five,’ but when she refused, he proceeded to hit her in the forehead with his hand.

A male counselor told police that Reese was “clearly under the influence of alcohol or drug-related substances.

According to the complaint, the counselor said Reese told him that he was going to expose himself.

“I told him his behavior was inappropriate and if he continued to act like this, he needed to leave,” the complaint notes.

The male counselor acknowledged it was not the first time Reese had come to the agency under the influence. “He was already told that he was not to come back unless ready for help.”

Reese’s preliminary hearing on the open lewdness charge was set for Oct. 24

On Monday, Reese was also arraigned on separate charges of acquiring or obtaining a controlled substance by misrepresentation, intent to possess a controlled substance, conspiracy to obtain a controlled substance, and forgery in connection with another incident in Tunkhannock Township on Sept. 1. His preliminary hearing in that matter was set for Oct. 11.

He was released on $25,000 unsecured bail on the incident involving open lewdness and $25,000 on the drug charges.
