Elk Lake’s girls’ varsity basketball team will look to take advantage of returning the majority of its starting lineup as it enters contention in Lackawanna League Division III this winter.
The Warriors, guided by second-year coach Dave Shingler, return all but one player this season, as Lydia Watkins graduated last spring.
Returning are standouts Meghan Bush, Kellie Grosvenor, Kenzi Moon, Faith Kwiatkowski, Sarah Kwiatkowski and Michaela Boner, among others.
The Warriors finished with a 5-9 league record last season, but hope to turn things around this season.
