The Tunkhannock Area boys’ and girls’ swimming and diving teams faced losses to Wyoming Valley West at home on Thursday and to Holy Redeemer at the Wilkes-Barre CYC on Tuesday.

Against Wyoming Valley West, the Tigers were paced by a first place finish from Joe Moffitt in the 100 breaststroke.

The Lady Tigers were led by first place finishes from Morgan Manglaviti in the 100 butterfly and Ashley Kasmierski in the 100 breast.

Holy Redeemer meet

On the girls’ side, Kandis Venn and Morgan Manglaviti each had two individual wins. Venn placed first in the 200 free and 100 back and Manglaviti added victories in the 50 free and 100 fly as the Lady Tigers faced a 122-58 loss.

In the boys’ meet, Ben Spencer paced Tunkhannock with wins in the 200 and 500 free while the team took a 101-73 loss.
