Nicholson Township supervisors gave the green light Thursday afternoon to a $263,000 budget for 2013.
Supervisors Joann Ritter, Duane White, and Victor Choplosky all voted for the budget that keeps the millage the same as last year at 3.8 mills.
Also attached to the 2013 budget will be Act 13 impact fee money that is expected in July.
“Once we receive that money, it will be added to the budget,” Ritter said. “The amount of the impact fee is unknown at this time.”
Additionally, there was revenue coming from Comcast Cable- about $7,000 – to install brand new wiring for the township.
“The wires have not been replaced since we switched over to Comcast cable,” Ritter said.
Also Act 13 gas impact fee was added to the 2012 budget at $95,128 early Thursday afternoon.
A reorganization meeting is scheduled for Jan. 7 at 7 p.m. at the Nicholson Township municipal building.
