The Keystone College baseball team grabbed the No. 12 spot on the NCAA Division III preseason poll.

The Giants, who finished 36-8 last season with their fourth straight Colonial States Athletic Conference crown, came in behind Salisbury at No. 11, and ahead of Concordia, Texas, at No. 13.

Wheaton College (Mass.) took first place in the poll with 269 points after finishing out the 2011-12 season with a 41-11 record, including a berth to the NCAA Division III World Series National Championship.

On the Giants’ regular season schedule is a doubleheader matchup with No. 30 St. Scholastica during spring training on Mar. 12 in Ft. Pierce, Fla.

The Giants will also face a challenge when they take on No. 7 ranked Kean University in Union, N.J., on Mar. 17.
