Lady Tigers defeat Coughlin

The Tunkhannock Area girls’ basketball team picked up a convincing 55-32 victory over Coughlin at home on Thursday night.
The Lady Tigers wasted no time taking an early 13-6 lead after the first quarter and led the Crusaders 28-15 by halftime.
In the second half, Tunkhannock sealed the win with a big 19-5 third quarter, holding on despite being outscored 12-8 in the fourth.
The Lady Tigers were led by Cheyanne Brown and Gabby Alguire, who each scored 10 points, while Katie Proulx added seven and Kanesha Bonner had six.
