Lions 4th at home tournament

The Lackawanna Trail Lion wrestling team took home fourth place in the team standings of its LT Invitational Tournament on Saturday.
Lackawanna Trail finished with 106.5 team points to take fourth while Whitehall took first at 205.
The Lions crowned a pair of champs as Billy Lee (138) and Victor Rosa (145) each went undefeated and had wins in the finals.
Lee brought home gold with a 7-2 decision win over Valley View’s Matthew Judge in the finals.
Rosa pinned Nanticoke’s Tony Edwards in his final match in 1-minute, 53-seconds to take the victory.
Lion Cooper Rosiak (152) placed second with a 5-2 loss to Valley View’s Mike Cipilewski in the finals.
Elk Lake’s wrestlers came in eighth of eight teams with 44 total points.
The Warriors’ top finish came from Isaiah Ofalt with a second place finish.
Ofalt (182) took a loss from Whitehall’s Fouad Haddad by way of a 4-1 decision in the finals.
