The Lackawanna Trail boys’ basketball team grabbed a 45-35 victory over Mountain View at home on Friday after it faced an 83-73 loss from Riverside on the road on Tuesday night.

The Lions got out to an early lead, pacing the Eagles 15-13 in the first quarter and held a 25-22 lead by halftime.

Trail then outscored the Eagles 9-6 in the third and 11-7 in the fourth to take the victory.

Dylan Harris led the Lions with a game-high 17 points while Dalton Mecke and Ross Fauquier each had seven points.

Riverside game

The Lions fell behind after a 21-16 first quarter but battled back to lead 38-36 at halftime.

In the second half, both teams scored 22 in the third, but Riverside came out to a big fourth quarter to seal the victory.

Dylan Harris led Lackawanna Trail with 25 points while Dalton Mecke and Ross Fauquier each added 14 and Matt Decker had 13.
