A car show all the way down one side of Tioga to McCord Street had gawkers checking out classic cars at Sherwood’s and Model As at Gateway. More than 25 locally owned Model A Fords could be seen, with most of them sponsored by the Steamtown As. The car show also featured the Villa Capri Cruisers car club from Scranton, who were formed in 1993.
At Ebb’s Candy Shop, artist Ted Michalowski did a live mural drawing of visitors to town, with Katie Johnson of Tunkhannock sitting for her portrait. On the canvas to her left are images of Joshua DePue, of New Milford, and Vanessa Pursell, of Lake Winola.
