State police in Tunkhannock investigated a crash on Feb. 9 at 10:50 a.m. in Northmoreland Twp.

According to police, Grace E. Kania, 28, of Tunkhannock, was traveling on Keelersburg Road when she failed to stop before striking the vehicle of Stephen J. King, 43, of Tunkahnnock, who was stopped in the road waiting to turn left onto Schoolhouse Road.

State police in Tunkhannock investigated a report of theft by unlawful taking on Feb. 8 at 5:06 p.m. in Laceyville Borough.

According to police, actors stole a blue, 2010 Toyota Tundra pickup truck from Kleinfelder Corp.

State police in Tunkhannock investigated a crash on Jan. 25 at 5 a.m. in Eaton Twp.

According to police, Joshua J. Crawford, 27, of Tunkhannock, was traveling on Rt. 29 near Sire Power Drive, when he traveled into the oncoming lane and struck a snowmobile trailer attached to the vehicle of Martin F. Rafferty, 42, of Dallas, disabling his vehicle. Crawford fled the scene, later being located near Master’s Concrete by the Triton Fire Department. The impact from Crawford disabled the snowmobile trailer from Rafferty’s vehicle and he fled the scene.

Crawford sustained major injuries in the accident.

State police in Tunkhannock investigated a report of false reports to law enforcement authorities on Jan. 25 at 5:30 a.m. in Northmoreland Twp.

According to police, Martin Rafferty, 42, of Dallas, made false reports to law enforcement authorities about his snowmobile trailer being stolen.

State police in Tunkhannock investigated a report of theft from a motor vehicle on between 7:15 p.m. on Feb. 7 and 8 a.m. on Feb. 8 in Overfield Twp.

According to police, actors entered two vehicles belonging to a 56-year-old Factoryville female and stole items from one of the vehicles.

State police in Tunkhannock investigated a crash on Dec. 14 at 2:49 a.m. in Lemon Twp.

According to police, Alexander N. Ward, 20, of Sardis, Ohio, was traveling on Rt. 1005 near Holbrook Road when he failed to negotiate a right curve, traveling off the roadway and striking a mailbox and utility pole before fleeing on Shore Drive. Ward and his vehicle were located four miles away where the vehicle had become disabled due to the accident.

While being interviewed, Ward displayed signs of intoxication and was taken into custody for DUI.
