A 19-year-old Tunkhannock man was sentenced Wednesday to 53 months-14 years in state prison for a crime spree that involved seven separate incidents before his 20th birthday.

Robert William Stover III appeared before Wyoming County Common Pleas President Judge Russell Shurtleff who issued sentences with just four of them to be served consecutively.

In January, Stover had pleaded guilty to crimes committed in six incidents between Nov. 15, 2015, and July 26, 2016, and in his plea arrangement, a seventh incident, drug charges on Dec. 4, 2015, would be ‘nolle prossed’ or not prosecuted at the time he received sentences in the other cases.

At his January plea hearing, Judge Shurtleff told Stover his crimes could get him 30 years in state prison.

On the day, Stover was sentenced to 18-60 months in state prison and a $500 fine for robbery on July 26, 2016; to 9-24 months in state prison and a $500 fine for possession with intent to deliver on Jan. 6, 2016; to 14-36 months in state prison and a $500 fine for criminal use of a communication facility on Nov. 15, 2015; to 9-24 months in state prison and a $500 fine for terroristic threats on Jan. 9, 2016, with sentences to be served consecutively; and then to 2-12 months in state prison and a $500 fine for criminal mischief on Jan. 9, 2016; to 2-6 months in state prison and a $1,000 fine for DUI of a controlled substance on Apr. 17, 2016; and to 3-24 months in state prison and a $500 fine for unsworn falsification to authorities on July 1, 2016, with the last three sentences concurrent to the others.
