Connor Munley threw six strikeouts in his one-hittter on Thursday.

With the regular season winding down, the Tigers baseball team is focusing on the end goal. The team was able to end its three game winless streak with a convincing domination of Nanticoke on Thursday and then added a win on Monday against Scranton.

Evan Sckman had a single and an RBI for Tunkhannock in a 3-1 loss at Hazleton on May 8. The Tigers had five different batters hit singles, and David Baltrusiatis scored the lone run.

Devin Reed hit a solo home run leading off the bottom of the sixth to start a two run rally to lead Hazleton to its second win in its three games.

Matt Goodwin threw 5.1 innings, giving up three runs, five hits and had eight strikeouts. Donnie Faux came in for the last two outs of the game, surrendering one hit.

The Tigers snapped a three game losing streak with a 13-0 win over Nanticoke on Thursday.

Tyler Faux, Dylan Mislevy and Baltrusaitis all had three hits as part of Tunkhannock’s 15-hit attack.

Goodwin and Sackman each hit a double and were 2-for-3 for the Tigers.

Connor Munley tossed five innings of shutout ball, allowing just one hit. He is now 3-1 on the year.
