Keystone College men’s basketball player JT Bennett was selected to the Colonial States Athletic Conference Player of the Week Honor Roll for the second straight week on Monday afternoon.
The junior guard was honored after averaging 15.5 points per game in a pair of conference wins for the Giants.
In an 83-68 victory at Clarks Summit University on Wednesday (Nov. 29), Bennett tallied nine points and dished out two assist in just 15 minutes of action.
The junior went 4-7 from the field in the win of the Defenders.
Bennett came up with a huge performance on Saturday against Neumann University, coming off the bench to net a game-high 22 points to lead Keystone to a 91-80 win over the defending CSAC champions.
He also dished out four assists, connected on five three-pointers, and went a perfect 7-7 from the free throw line against the Knights.
Bennett and the Giants will return to the hardwood on Friday night at Bridgewater College, taking on the host Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on the opening day of the Don Glick Classic in Bridgewater, Virginia.
