The Lackawanna Trail girls basketball team lost 58-33 at Susquehanna Friday night to fall to 1-3 in second half play in Division IV of the Lackawanna League and to 1-19 overall.

The Lady Lions fell behind 16-8 after the opening quarter and trailed by 10 at the half.

In the third, Trail pulled to within nine by the end of the quarter, but the Lady Sabers turned on their defense in the fourth and limited their opponent to just two points en route to the win.

Junior Laurelann Penn scored 13 points and sophomore Cali Fauquier added 11 to lead the Lady Lions.
