The Tunkhannock Area softball team cruised to an 11-0 victory at Towanda in a non-league game on Friday.
The Lady Tigers broke the game open with eight runs in the top of the second, then added three more in the third to put the game away, though only one of the 11 runs was earned.
Senior Danielle Krispin tripled, drove in three runs and scored, sophomore Hope Jones had two hits, drove in three runs and scored, sophomore Jena Simmons added a hit, drove in a run and scored twice, senior Jen Bulford and sophomore Kendra Schultz had a hit, drove in a run and scored and seniors Sarah Traver and Paige Mokychic and sophomore Faith Jones also crossed the plate.
Hope Jones picked up the win, allowing just one hit while striking out one in three innings in the circle.
Schultz came on to strike out three and allow no hits through two innings of relief.
