The Blue Star Mothers of NEPA Hero 5K run/walk will be held this Saturday, Nov. 11, starting at the Tunkhannock Little League fields on Sunnyside Road.

The race will begin at 10 a.m., with onsite registration beginning at 8 a.m.

Also from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., music will be played by DJ Tom Caines and basket raffles will be held.

A brief Veteran’s Day program and race instructions will happen a half hour before the race kicks off, and awards and raffle drawing will be held at 11 a.m.

The course will start and end at the Tunkhannock Little League fields and extend out to the Iroquois Trail.

All school-aged students are strong encouraged to join together to compete for a team award.

Electronic Race Timing will be provided by Kirby’s Race Timing.
