The Tunkhannock Area baseball team remained undefeated and improved to 3-0 with a 4-1 victory at Wyoming Area on Wednesday, April 12.
The Tigers currently sit atop Division 2 of the Wyoming Valley Conference with the three wins.
At Wyoming Area, Tunkhannock opened the game with three runs in the top of the first inning, which would prove to be the difference.
The game went scoreless until the final inning, when both teams plated a run for the 4-1 final.
Senior Connor Hulslander went the distance on the mound for the win, scattering eight hits and striking out four while allowing the one run.
He also helped his cause at the dish with three hits, including a double, and scored.
Also for the Tigers, junior Matt Goodwin had two hits, drove in a run and scored, senior Brian Muckin had two hits and drove in two runs, sophomore Tyler Faux had a single and scored and sophomore Nick Reposa had a hit and drove in a run.
