Elk Lake baseball snapped it’s three game slide with an 11-3 win at Susquehanna on April 8. Caleb Ely had two doubles, two runs and an RBI to lead Elk Lake to a Division V win. Jack Waldenberger and Kevin Valvano each had two hits and drove in two runs for the Warriors. Joe McAleer hit a double and picked up the win, striking out seven and allowing five free passes. Of his 88 pitches, four were hits. Jack Waldenberger came in for the save, completing the game with three innings pitched, two hits and one strike out.

The Warriors took a hiatus, allowing for class and club trips. They would not be back in action until Tuesday at Forest City in what should have been the first game of each team’s season.
